Project JalSudhaar, initiated by Green Code Labs, is a sustainable water recovery solution designed to empower NGOs, community organizations, and local development bodies. By treating and recycling greywater at the local level, this decentralized smart STP system addresses water scarcity, hygiene, and environmental degradation in underserved urban and rural communities.
The project enables NGOs to promote clean water access, sanitation, urban gardening, and hygiene campaigns, aligning with SDG 6 (Clean Water & Sanitation) and Jal Jeevan Mission objectives.
✅ Decentralized Treatment Units: Compact, solar-powered STPs for schools, public toilets, anganwadis, and slums.
✅ Greywater Reuse: Recycled water for toilet flushing, cleaning, handwashing stations, and tree watering.
✅ IoT-Based Monitoring: Transparent, real-time tracking of water quality and system health—great for donor reporting.
✅ Low-Cost & Scalable: Modular design, ideal for low-resource settings with minimal technical dependency.
✅ Community Awareness Tools: Comes with training kits, visual guides, and local language support.
WASH Projects: Ensure water availability for sanitation, handwashing, and menstrual hygiene programs.
Water for Urban Gardens: Reuse treated water in school gardens, parks, and kitchen gardens.
Community Toilets & Bathing Units: Reduce reliance on freshwater for flushing and cleaning.
Relief Camps & Slum Redevelopment Projects: Provide safe, recycled water in temporary settlements.
Women-Led Water Governance Initiatives: Promote inclusivity by training women to manage local STPs.
